Blue Spree

A more maritime side of Berlin

KAI is located at the southern tip of Stralau. While officially part of Friedrichshain, the peninsula feels distinctly removed from the pace of the city.

Half city, half island entirely its own

Stralau is one of those rare places in Berlin: a peninsula almost entirely surrounded by water, with wide views across the Spree and towards the green riverbanks of Treptow and Rummelsburg Bay.

Once a fishing village, later a centre for sailing and industry, traces of its past can still be found today. Now, Stralau is known as a residential address of quiet distinction. Along its riverside paths, the city feels unexpectedly distant.

At the same time, Berlin remains close at hand. Cultural venues, restaurants and everyday amenities are all within easy reach. Ostkreuz station is just minutes away, offering fast connections across the city.

A sense of connection: Everything that makes Berlin unique is within easy reach.
A sense of calm: Water, riverside paths and gently moored boats define the atmosphere of Stralau.
